A VOICE FOR HORSES IN NAPA COUNTY

Napa County Horse Council is an ad hoc citizens committee that is in the process of formation. We need a horse council, separate from the Livestock Council, to advocate as "a voice for horses" in all levels of planning decisions: zoning ordinances, trail access, etc., and to speak for horse-related businesses and events.

Goals:
• To Educate the Public about the needs and nature of horses in Napa County
• To participate in the County and State planning processes as an advocate for horses
• To Develop and oversee a unified Emergency and Disaster Plan for horses
• To serve as an equine resource for the County and the general Napa County Community
