Skyline Wilderness Park: A New Covered Arena
Skyline Wilderness Riders is raising funds to construct a covered arena in Napa's Skyline Wilderness Park, a popular site for horsecamping, horse shows and trail riding. The project is being accomplished with volunteer labor and donated funds. Design, site
preparation, engineering, grading, sand, and tamping have been completed. BABTT has pledged $5,000 for the project. Please Contact merrywidmeyer@aim.com
The park also includes ten spacious horse camping sites, each accommodating 2 horses, 2 rigs, with water and picnic table. Bathrooms with showers are available within a short walking distance. There are 15 miles of trail to ride, through wooded forest, valleys and hilltops. The park includes access to the Bay Area Ridge Trail. More information: Skyline Park, 707 252-0481
